Wedel, Germany (10/03/2023) Good news for patients with bladder cancer: medac GmbH makes the reliable supply of its immunotherapeutic product for patients with a high-risk tumour it´s declared mission. As a result, the indication expert aims to end the global supply shortages that have existed for the past 10 years, thereby enabling affected patients to return to guideline-based therapy. The fact that the expert in gold-standard therapies for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is in its element is also reflected in a completely new brand identity.
With the new campaign, medac GmbH dips into the great world of the oceans. This is a natural choice because just as with the supply in the indication NMIBC, only the bravest and most experienced face the element of water in its untamed form - and this is precisely where the NMIBC expert feels at home. They grasp the indication in all its depth and master it in all its layers: "We were inspired by one of the most powerful elements – the ocean and the courage needed to face it. Only the most experienced can ride the wave perfectly. This metaphor can be applied to our long-standing expertise in bladder cancer. Doing the right thing is always also a question of experience. In addition, bladder cancer treatment requires courage as well as skill: The courage of patients to choose the right treatment and the therapeutic skills of physicians and nurses. The visually stunning campaign was created in collaboration with WEFRA LIFE SOLUTIONS GmbH, based in Neu-Isenburg, Germany. It was presented for the first time at this year's annual congress of the European Association of Urology (EAU) in Milan.
